Bosnians can travel to North Macedonia without presenting negative PCR test

Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo and Montenegro can as of Monday travel to North Macedonia without a requirement to present a negative coronavirus test at the border when entering the country.

The North Macedonian government made the decision on October 6, noting that North Macedonian citizens will also be able to travel to these four countries without the requirement based on the principle of reciprocity.

“Based on coordination with the Ministries of Health from the region, today at the session of the Government of the Republic of Northern Macedonia we made the decision to allow the unimpeded entry of foreign citizens from the Republic of Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, without a medical certificate including a negative RT PCR SARS CoV-2 test,” Zaev posted on Facebook on Tuesday.

North Macedonia closed its borders at the beginning of the pandemic and reopened them in mid-June, but with measures introduced to prevent the spread of the virus which include requirements for foreigners entering the country to present negative COVID-19 tests no older than 72 hours.
