Another 334 coronavirus cases, 11 more COVID-19 fatalities reported in Bosnia

A total of 334 more people were confirmed infected with the coronavirus and 11 passed away due to COVID-19 throughout the past 24 hours, healthcare institutions in the country reported on Tuesday.

In the Federation (FBiH), one of Bosnia’s semi-autonomous regions, 228 people tested positive among the 1,597 tested since Monday. Ten COVID-19 deaths were reported.

Bosnia’s other entity, Republika Srpska (RS), saw 106 new coronavirus cases and one death related to the disease.

The Brcko District, which does not belong to the two entities, also recorded two more coronavirus cases.

The total number of coronavirus infections to date in Bosnia is now 31,173 and 23,777 people have recovered so far, according to data by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

The COVID-19 death toll is 947.

The number of active coronavirus cases in the country is 6,449.
