Serbia's Health Ministry said on Wednesday that over the last 24 hours, five patients died and out of 9,690 tested 1,328 people were confirmed infected with the coronavirus.

The death toll stood at 803, with a mortality rate of 1,9 percent.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, 1,308,639, people have been tested, and 42,208 have been confirmed infected.

On Wednesday, 946 people have been hospitalised, and 39 on ventilators.
