Healthcare institutions in Bosnia’s two semi-autonomous entities reported on Sunday that another 1,411 people tested positive for the coronavirus in the past 24 hours and that 13 more people passed away due to COVID-19.
In Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS) region, 582 of the 1,078 people tested since Saturday were positive and nine people passed away due to the disease.
In the other entity, the Federation (FBiH), the number of new cases was 829, out of the 1,847 tested. Four more COVID-19 deaths were reported.
More than 50,000 people have so far been infected with the virus in Bosnia since the beginning of the pandemic and more than 28,000 have recovered so far.
