The messages ‘Bosnia remembers’ and ‘Unity over division’ were also displayed on the building’s walls.

City Mayor Abdulah Skaka said the building was shining “in honour of a true and proven friend of our country, president-elect of the United States of America, Joe Biden.”

“I also extend my sincere congratulations to the first female Vice President in the American history Kamala Harris, as well as a Bosnian in Biden’s victorious team Elvir Klempic,” said the mayor.
