US Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Eric Nelson called on citizens to exercise their right and vote in the upcoming local elections, particularly urging the young voters to cast their ballots.

“I especially hope that young people realize that power they have to make BiH a better place. I hope that they know that taking an active role, getting to the polls and casting a vote is the way they can take charge of their future,” said the ambassador in a video message published a day before the election weekend.

Elections can't change the past, but they can change the future, stressed the ambassador.
