Serbia's Health Ministry said on Saturday, that over the last 24 hours, 28 patients died of the coronavirus-related ailments, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,168, while out of 16,938 tested people 5,774 were confirmed infected with the coronavirus.

A mortality rate stood at 1.01% percent.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, 1,610,219 people have been tested, and 116,125 have been confirmed infected.

The Ministry said that on Saturday that 6,071 patients were hospitalised, and 209 of them on ventilators.
