Serbia's Health Ministry said on Sunday, that over the last 24 hours, 31 patients died of the coronavirus-related ailments, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,199, while out of 13,429 tested people 4,995 were confirmed infected with the coronavirus.

A mortality rate stood at 0.99 percent.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, 1,623,648 people have been tested, and 121,120 samples have come back positive.

The Ministry said 6,214 patients were hospitalised, and 212 of them on ventilators on Sunday.
