Serbia's Health Ministry said on Tuesday, that over the last 24 hours, 37 patients died of the coronavirus-related ailments, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,274 while out of 21,476 tested people 6,842 were confirmed infected with the coronavirus.

A mortality rate stood at 0,96 percent.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, 1,660,185 people have been tested, and 133,029 samples have come back positive.

The Ministry said 6,478 patients were hospitalised, and 225 of them on ventilators on Monday.
