The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily 3:00 pm bulletin on Friday that 57 people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,423.

It said that 22,404 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 7,780 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

The total number of people tested to date stands at 1,726,389 with 155,994 confirmed cases.

The bulletin said that there are 6,901 active cases, including 245 patients on ventilators.
