Drugmakers US Pfizer and German partner BioNT applied on Wednesday for the registration of their coronavirus vaccine in Serbia, the state RTS TV reported.
It said the application request was agreed in a meeting between the representatives of the drugmakers with Serbia’s Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar.
Pfizer and BioNT vaccine proved to be some 95 percent efficient after the third phase of research.
BioNTis said to have been working on a formula that will enable the vaccine storage at room temperature since right now it must be stored at minus 75 degrees Celsius, what complicates its distribution.
