In the last 24 hours, 69 people died from COVID-19 related complications and out of 22,497 tested, 7,782 people were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, Health Ministry said on Friday.

The total death toll stood at 1,834, with 0,89 percent of a mortality ratio.

It added that on Friday, there were 7,700 hospitalised patients, while 270 of them were on ventilators.

The total number of tested people since March 6 has been 1,867,228, and 206,940 have been confirmed positive for the new virus.
