North Macedonian health authorities recorded 659 new coronavirus cases on Sunday and 23 virus-related fatalities.

The authorities said they tested 1,715 samples over the past 24 hours, and that the number of positive results amounts to 38.43 percent.

So far, 1,924 people died from the virus in this country, and the total number of confirmed cases is 67.968. The country has 22,398 active cases.

N. Macedonia said they performed 348.795 tests for the presence of the new coronavirus, since the outbreak of the pandemic.
