Bosnia sees another 60 COVID-19 fatalities, 437 new coronavirus cases

A total of 437 people tested positive for the coronavirus in Bosnia in the past 24 hours and 60 people passed away due to COVID-19, healthcare authorities said on Monday.

Of the 1,311 people tested in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity, 351 were positive in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity. FBiH also saw 39 COVID-19 fatalities since Sunday.

The other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), saw 85 coronavirus cases among the 392 samples tested and 16 people passed away due to the disease.

Bosnia’s Brcko District registered one new coronavirus infection and five COVID-19 deaths.

A total of 94,944 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Bosnia since the beginning of the epidemic and 59,488 have recovered so far.

Bosnia's COVID-19 death toll is now 3,012.

There are currently 32,444 active coronavirus cases in the country.
