A total of 524 people of 1,555 tested for the coronavirus were positive in Kosovo and 566 COVID-19 patients recovered in the past 24 hours, the Kosovo Public Health Institute said on Saturday, according to the KoSSev news portal.

Twelve people, aged between 48 and 84, passed away due to COVID-19 in Kosovo since Friday.

A total of 46,118 of the 161,907 people tested for the coronavirus in Kosovo since the beginning of the epidemic were positive and the COVID-19 death toll is 1,186.

There are currently 11,868 active coronavirus cases in Kosovo.
