The Chairman of Bosnia’s tripartite Presidency and member of the institution from Bosnia’s Serb-majority entity of Republika Srpska (RS), Milorad Dodik, congratulated U.S. President-elect Joe Biden for his election victory.
“In my capacity as the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, as well as the representative of the Serb people in this institution, I congratulate on the election victory and the mandate won for one of the most important and influential positions in the world – the position of President of the United States,” Dodik said.
He noted that the U.S., “with which the Serb people have shared a friendship and alliance for more than a century,” is one of the authors and guarantors of the 1995 Dayton Peace Agreement, which ended the Bosnian war.
