Bosnian government approved the decision on the formation of the temporary migrant camp “Lipa” in the Bihac area, south-west Bosnia, Monday, which will consist of adapted shipping containers able to house 1,500 individuals.
The state Security Ministry was told to resolve the legal issues with the City of Bihac regarding the use of the “Lipa” location by the Service for Foreigners and to define and sign a memorandum of understanding on the provision of mutual assistence, between the City of Bihac, Una-Sana Canton, Service for Foreigners Affairs International Organisation for Migrations and other institutions.
The Council of Ministers, as the BiH government is officially called, said the funds for the establishment and maintenece of the camp will be provided from the earlier-received donations.
