Milorad Dodik, the Chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s tripartite Presidency, will not be transferred to Belgrade for further medical treatment as speculated, a source close to the Presidency Chairman told N1.

Dodik was hospitalised Sunday evening at the University Clinical Centre in Banja Luka, due to nausea and stomach pain.

His son, Igor Dodik, briefly told N1 that Dodik was “doing OK.”

The Serb Presidency member was also tested for the novel coronavirus but the test was negative. Later on, he was diagnosed double pneumonia but his health condition was stable, the hospital said.

According to the latest information that arrived on Tuesday, Dodik was re-tested for coronavirus and he will not be transferred to Belgrade, as speculated these days.

The Banja Luka Clinical Centre, where he is receiving the treatment, is expected to clarify the situation during the day.
