Another 674 coronavirus infections, 85 COVID-19 fatalities reported in BiH

A total of 674 people tested positive for the coronavirus and 85 passed away due to COVID-19 in Bosnia and Herzegovina throughout the past 24 hours, healthcare authorities said on Tuesday.

Of the 2,641 samples tested in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity since Monday, 463 came back positive for the virus and 62 people passed away due to the disease.

In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 180 of the 635 people tested were positive and 22 died due to COVID-19.

Bosnia’s Brcko District also reported 31 new coronavirus cases and one more COVID-19 fatality.

More than 106,000 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in BiH since the beginning of the pandemic and more than 71,000 have recovered so far.

Bosnia’s COVID-19 death toll has surpassed 3,700.
