The Serbian Health Ministry said in its daily 3:00 pm bulletin on Tuesday that 49 people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,782.

It said that 16,022 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 4,080 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

The total number of people tested to date stands at 2,171,387 with 307,827 confirmed cases.

The bulletin said that there are 9,651 active cases, including 313 patients on ventilators.
