The state-controlled Tanjug news agency said on Tuesday that the first shipment of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine had arrived in Serbia.

The agency published a video of a cargo aircraft being unloaded at Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla airport, saying that 4,800 doses of the vaccine were in the shipment.

Serbian officials have been saying for days that the first deliveries of the vaccine would arrive by the end of the year. The Serbian Medicines and Medical Devices Agency approved the imports of the Pfizer vaccine four days ago.
