A total of 674 people have tested positive for the coronavirus, 552 recovered and 41 passed away due to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours in Bosnia and Herzegovina, healthcare authorities said on Wednesday.
In Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity, 433 of the 2,033 samples tested since Tuesday came back positive for the virus, and 12 people died due to the disease.
The other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), registered 226 new coronavirus cases among 959 tests conducted, while 29 COVID-19 patients died.
Another 15 coronavirus cases were confirmed in Bosnia’s Brcko District.
Acccording to the Ministry of Civil Affairs, 107,570 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Bosnia and Herzegovina since the beginning of the epidemic and 73,149 have recovered so far.
Bosnia’s COVID-19 death toll is 3,838.
There are currently 30,583 active coronavirus cases in the country.
