The health condition of Chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Presidency, Milorad Dodik, who tested positive for the coronavirus, is unchanged and stable, the healthcare institution where the official is undergoing a medical treatment confirmed on Thursday.

“Our doctors are maintaining continuous communication with prominent experts in Serbia and abroad. Mr Dodik is feeling well and is under constant surveillance of the concilium,” said the University Clinical Centre in Banja Luka, the northern city and administrative centre of Bosnia’s Republika Srpska region.

Dodik was admitted to the hospital Sunday evening and was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia a day later. He also tested positive for the coronavirus.

He previously spent a few days in isolation due to the contact with a Covid-19 patient. Prior to the hospitalisation, Dodik complained about nausea and stomach pain.

Serbia sent a team of doctors to Banja Luka where Dodik is being treated after he tested positive for coronavirus, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday. He said Dodik’s health condition is “not ideal” but also “not terrible.”
