Croatia has recorded 2,233 new coronavirus cases and 70 infection related deaths in the last 24 hours, the national coronavirus response team reported on Thursday morning.
The number of active cases stands at 15,323. Among them are 2,749 infected people receiving hospital treatment, of whom 292 are on ventilators.
Since February 25, when the first case was confirmed in Croatia, 202,319 people have been infected with the novel virus, of whom 3,464 have died and 183,532 have recovered, including 2,797 in the last 24 hours. Currently, 48,054 people are in self-isolation.
To date, a total of 982,850 people have been tested for coronavirus, including 8,343 in the last 24 hours.
