Police officers from the Department for Combating Computer Crime of the Federal Police Administration have detained U. A. (1998) from Gorazde. The individual is accused of sending serious threats to the life and body of three victims, as well as threats to their property, using multiple online user accounts.
On June 30, 2024, the Federal Police Administration, under the supervision of prosecutors from the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office and the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Goražde Prosecutor's Office, and with the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Goražde, executed an order from the Municipal Court in Gorazde.
Searches were conducted of the premises and belongings used by U. A. (1998) in connection with the criminal offense of “Endangering Safety” under Article 183 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, committed against three individuals from the Sarajevo Canton.
The suspect used multiple online user accounts to send serious threats via social media, including threats of killing by slashing, throwing explosive devices, committing rape, and other severe threats to the victims’ lives and property.
After criminal processing, U. A. (1998) will be handed over to the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, along with a report on the committed criminal offense. Items directly related to the crime were found and temporarily confiscated during the searches.
