During his speech at the White House on Friday, American President Joe Biden warned that the cancellation of financial aid to Ukraine could lead to a crisis in the Balkan countries.
If we walk away and Russia is able to sustain its onslaught and bring down Ukraine, what do you think is going to happen to the Balkan countries? What do you think is going to happen to Poland and Hungary?” he said.

Top Biden aides openly told lawmakers in a private meeting Wednesday that if Congress doesn't soon approve additional military aid to Ukraine, Russia could win the war within weeks — months at best, NBC News reports.
National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines said at the time that it was no coincidence that Putin launched his biggest airstrike since the start of the invasion of Ukraine after Congress failed to approve more aid last month.
