Work continued to clear debris, roads, and structures impacted by the recent floods in Donja Jablanica, with machinery and volunteers actively participating, the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNK) Civil Protection Operational Center announced.

Since this morning, 30 members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been deployed to aid in the rehabilitation of Donja Jablanica.

Efforts are focused on clearing roadways and facilities in Zlate, Mirke, Cehari, Civelj, and nearby lakeside villages, along with preparing the road leading to the municipal waste landfill.

Intensive work is also underway to restore traffic on the M-17-5 Jablanica-Blidinje main road.

Expert teams are on-site to assess the damage and recommend necessary repairs. Food and medicine continue to be delivered to residents throughout the municipality.

In the City of Konjic, the City Civil Protection Staff remains fully engaged in supporting the affected population.

The Civil Protection Staff is coordinating ongoing rescue operations and material protection efforts in areas hit by the natural disaster, while also assisting residents with recovery activities.

Three expert commissions are working around the clock to assess the extensive damage caused by heavy rainfall.

All available resources are being mobilized for protection and rescue efforts, and significant progress is being made to reopen roads in affected areas of Konjic.

Construction machinery is continuously involved in re-establishing road connections in the region.
