A special Presidency session has been announced to discuss the Draft Budget of State Institutions for 2022, which was submitted to this state body on Wednesday, the BiH Finance Ministry confirmed for N1.

Although the budget was adopted two days ago at the 51st session of the BiH Council of Ministers, it was only submitted on Wednesday just before the BiH Presidency session, which means there will be little time to consider the extensive document.

Throughout last year, as well as this year until now, state institutions have been functioning on decisions on temporary financing, which enabled only the financing of basic budget payments and external debt, but not the realisation of important projects.
After the Presidency states its position on the proposal, the procedure continues in both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On May 27, the draft law on the budget of institutions and international obligations was sent to the procedure by the State Minister of Finance and Treasury, Vjekoslav Bevanda, a member of the Croat Democratic Union (HDZ BiH).

According to the Draft, the budget of BiH for 2022 amounts to 1,073,600,000 Bosnian Marks, of which the allocation of revenues from indirect taxes at the state level is 865,500,000 BAM.
