The parliament of Bosnia’s Serb-dominated Republika Srpska (RS) entity adopted several conclusions demanding that international community’s High Representative for the country submits a work report for the period from 1995 to 2020 for consideration, SRNA news agency reported Wednesday.
The RS National Assembly (RSNA), as the parliament is officially called, adopted three conclusions according to which information was adopted regarding the request for submission of the High Representative's report on the civilian implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement, which ended the war in the country, for the period 1995-2020.
The RSNA also adopted a conclusion asking the High Representative in BiH to prepare a report on the work of the High Representative for the period 1995-2020 and to submit it to the National Assembly for consideration, within 90 days.
“This conclusion shall enter into force on the day following the day of its publication in the ‘Official Gazette of Republika Srpska’,” the conclusions state.
The RS parliament also adopted a conclusion asking the international community’s representatives to use their authority to prevent the announced appointment of a new High Representative and enable the closure of the Office of the High Representative in 2021.
