
The Assistant Minister of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina for International Cooperation, Zoran Sajinovic, and US Defense Attaché to BiH, Brigadier General Eric R. Adams, signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the 2025 Bilateral Defense Cooperation Plan (M2M Plan) on Wednesday. At the signing ceremony, Assistant Minister Sajinovic expressed deep gratitude to the United States for its steadfast support of BiH's defence institutions. He highlighted the United States’ role as a key ally in strengthening the operational capacities and capabilities of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“I extend my heartfelt thanks to the US team for their dedication and commitment, as well as to my colleagues from the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH, whose efforts were instrumental in preparing this plan. This memorandum represents a cornerstone for continuing our friendly and partnership-based cooperation,” Sajinovic stated.
The ceremony was attended by officials from Bosnia’s Ministry of Defense involved in implementing bilateral cooperation activities, alongside representatives from the US Embassy’s Defense Cooperation Office (ODC).
According to the Ministry of Defence's Press Office, the agreement reaffirms both nations’ shared commitment to bolstering regional security and stability through ongoing collaboration.
