The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Turkey, which claimed the lives of four innocent people.

“Our thoughts are with the families of the victims and all those affected by this horrific act. Bosnia and Herzegovina stands with Turkey in the fight against terrorism and in support of peace and security,” the Ministry announced on X.

On Wednesday, gunmen launched a fatal “terrorist” assault on Turkey’s state-controlled aerospace company near Ankara, government officials confirmed.

The attack on the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAS) headquarters, located just outside the capital, claimed five lives and left 22 people wounded, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya reported. The attackers, a man and a woman were also killed in the confrontation.

Among the fatalities were four TUSAS employees and a taxi driver who had driven the attackers to the facility, Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılma confirmed.

While no group has yet claimed responsibility, Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler pointed to the possibility of the PKK’s involvement. The PKK is recognized as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the European Union, and the United States.
