The President of the Serbian Parliament, Ana Brnabic, said today that proposing a resolution on the International Day of Commemoration and Remembrance of the Srebrenica Genocide at the United Nations is a "farce" and that she "has never been as concerned about peace in the Balkans as she is now."
“I call on everyone from the European Union (EU) to ask themselves what Bosnia and Herzegovina will look like after the vote on this resolution. Will it be a more peaceful, stable country, where there is greater understanding between Bosniaks, Croats and Serbs, or a more unstable one where one incident can set everything on fire? And who did it, first of all Germany, and then all those from the EU and all those who will vote for this resolution,” said Brnabic.
Brnabic said that perhaps indirectly Germany's goal is that the word genocide no longer means anything, as well as that the way of proposing this resolution is the beginning of the end of the United Nations because everything is done contrary to its charter.
“Shame on you, above all you from Germany, shame on you, for what you are doing to the people of the Balkans, to all the people in the Balkans, above all to the Serb people, but also to everyone in the Balkans. This does not bring anyone anything good. But they have their own specific goals and because of that, they are ready to sacrifice everything, sacrifice peace, and open a new focal point,” Brnabic pointed out, Beta reports.
