The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has accepted the proposal from the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and issued an order for a central and international warrant for the arrest of Zoran Galic, as confirmed to Faktor by the Court.

This decision, made today, officially designates the Deputy Director of SIPA, Galic, as a fugitive from Bosnian judicial authorities.

Galic recently fled to Croatia, thereby evading arrest in the operation code-named “Kings.” Through his lawyer, he claimed to be on medical leave and requested to be relieved of his duties.

The Council of Ministers has been attempting for several sessions to decide on his status, specifically whether he will be relieved of his duties at his own request or dismissed, as insisted upon by some ministers.

Zoran Galic is under investigation by the Prosecutor's Office of BiH for alleged offenses of accepting bribes and other forms of benefits, and abuse of position or authority, during his tenure as the Director of the Border Police of BiH.
