Croatia sends emergency aid worth €1.2m to Ukraine in wake of Russia’s invasion

At its meeting on Thursday, the Croatian government approved a 9.1 million kuna (€1.2 million) emergency aid package to Ukraine after it was attacked by Russia on Thursday morning. Pročitaj više

The aid, which state agency Hina described as “goods and equipment,” will be provided from government-run stockpiles of the Interior Ministry, Economy Ministry, Health Ministry, Foreign Affairs Ministry, and the national firefighting service.

“We are sending this aid as a token of solidarity,” Interior Minister, Davor Bozinovic, said. “Croatia is also prepared to assist Ukraine in landmine clearance operations, by providing our machines as well as advisory services,” he added.
