President of BiH's Republika Srpska (RS) entity Milorad Dodik said that Saturday was supposed to be a "historic day" for the entity and that the National Assembly of Serbia was supposed to discuss the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. “Whenever unity was urgently needed by the Serbian people, there were always those who undermined it. And instead of a demonstration of unity, on Saturday we will have demonstrations that lead us to division”, Dodik said.
He stated that Saturday is a major test for citizens but also for the state of Serbia and that “the attack on the state must stop.”
“Saturday is the day when it will be as clear as day who is ready to protect the state and serve their people, and who places the fate of their people and state in the hands of foreign masters, serving them. Color revolutions always aim to destroy and create chaos, and violence always ends in tragedy. I believe the Serbian people will not allow themselves to create a tragedy,” Dodik's message on X stated.
The entity president assessed that an attack on the state is always accompanied by “media and money from foreign sources.”
“When they raise our flag, camouflaging their loyalty to the people while demonstrating false patriotism. This is an attack on Serbia with the goal of overthrowing the democratically elected government led by Aleksandar Vucic through some kind of street plenums and plunging Serbia into decades of destabilization, making it an easy prey for Serbia’s enemies,” Dodik said.
In his message, Dodik emphasized that he is grateful to and supports Vucic, as well as Serbia's sovereignty based on national and people's interests.
He added that Republika Srpska firmly stands by Vucic, who has “once again made Serbia strong, powerful, and respected.”
Finally, he said that he hopes Serbs will never again raise their hands against each other.
