US envoy Matthew Palmer had been reduced to only one issue – Bosnia’s election reform, Serb Presidency member Milorad Dodik said Thursday, adding that he does not expect anything from the meeting with him.

“Palmer was reduced to only one issue and then further reduced regarding that issue to the relationship between Muslims and Croats, in reaching a solution. From the standpoint of the election process, the Law, we can talk about that, everything else is just a part of courtesy and nothing more,” Dodik told reporters in Pale, a municipality near Sarajevo.

“Muslims have seized some competencies through the interventions of High Representatives and judges of the BiH Constitutional Court – foreigners, and they are now desperately guarding it. That’s why there’s constant talk of an attack on the constitution and that things are not in accordance with the Constitution. Everything they took away they say it was constitutional, and not what it said [in the Constitution],” Dodik pointed out.

The Presidency member stated that “political relations in BiH will not have any movement” until those things return as basics to the level of what they are.

“We will only have a standstill,” Dodik said.
