The President of Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity, Milorad Dodik, commented on the conflict between the Wagner mercenary group and the Russian army. He welcomed Russian President Vladimir Putin's efforts to de-escalate the conflict and warned that the West could take advantage of the situation.

“In Republika Srpska, we are following the events related to the armed rebellion of the Wagner group with great interest, and we believe that there will be no further escalation. We also believe that the Western powers could take advantage of this situation”, Dodik posted on Twitter.

“On behalf of the institutions and people of Republika Srpska and on my own behalf, I extend my sincere support to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, in his efforts to preserve the peace and internal stability of Russia and restore order in the military and other forces. I believe that the wisdom and strength of President Putin, as a true leader, will lead to the calming of the situation and that the more serious consequences of the betrayal of the Wagner group will be avoided,” he added.
