As part of the 16th Telemach Youth Film Festival Sarajevo (OFF), the 5th OFF Pro Film Market, the festival's industrial initiative for the development of short films, was inaugurated last night at the Manifesto Gallery. The French Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina is the main sponsor of this year's OFF industry program, providing funding for most of the program's activities.

The program was opened by the director of the OFF Pro Film Market, Hanis Bagashov, and the Cultural Attaché of the Republic of France for the Balkan region, Laëtitia Kulyk. This year's OFF Pro Film Market features three days of sessions and programs dedicated to the film industry, with numerous guests from Europe and the region participating in discussions and workshops.

The OFF Co-Pro Market, part of the OFF Pro Film Market, focuses on the development of short films. This year's Co-Pro Market presents 12 projects competing for co-production funds, a distribution strategy award provided by Gorila Distribution Italy, and the Manaki Brothers Film Festival award. The total value of the awards is € 15,000.

The sessions scheduled for July 22, 23, and 24 will focus on the development and promotion of short films as well as the promotion of green policies in film production, aiming to reduce budgets and encourage rational spending.

This year's OFF Pro Film Market is the largest edition of OFF's industry program ever, bringing together dozens of European producers and distributors who will negotiate co-productions and potential collaborations in Sarajevo, according to OFF.
