Germany expresses support for High Rep's decision regarding Dodik's party

The embassy emphasized that the decision of the High Representative, Christian Schmidt, "is specifically aimed at those who are politically responsible for violating the Dayton Agreement and undermining the constitutional order and functional integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina".

"Germany imposed an entry ban on three main responsible individuals from the Republika Srpska on April 3. The recent laws of the Republika Srpska entity, which are aimed at undermining the work of Bosnia and Herzegovina's judiciary, are unacceptable. Germany stands in solidarity with all those in the country, regardless of the entity they belong to, who support the Constitution and state institutions and work constructively on Bosnia and Herzegovina's path to the European Union. Schmidt on Thursday used his Bonn powers to suspend all budget payments for the financing of the SNSD and United Srpska parties.
