The so-called “Great Assembly of the People of Republika Srpska” issued a People’s Proclamation at the support rally in Banja Luka, the administrative centre of Bosnia's Republika Srpska (RS) entity, in which they say that they will not have an anti-Dayton and anti-constitutional Bosnia and Herzegovina, nor BiH, which is only at the will of the Bosniak people. “The Republika Srpska [entity] was founded by the people on January 9, 1992, it was defended by the people and its Army of the RS during the ‘Defence-Patriotic War’ and we have preserved it for all these 27 years of peace. We don't want an anti-Dayton and anti-constitutional Bosnia and Herzegovina, give us back the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina so that we don't have to leave it,” states the Proclamation that was read in the park “Mladen Stojanovic” at the rally called by the ruling coalition in this entity, called “Fatherland Calling.”

The “Grand Assembly of the People of RS” rejects the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which “seizes the agricultural land, forests and waters from the RS, takes away schools and hospitals, roads and dams.”

“We don't want the BiH, which forbids us to build: the Buk Bijela hydropower plant, the Trebinje Airport, the gas pipeline from Serbia and other projects. We will not finance BiH which Bosniak politicians use to spit on and suffocate the RS,” the Proclamation said.

The “Assembly” pointed out that “there is no Bosnia and Herzegovina outside of the two entities that make it up by the mathematical sum of 49 percent plus 51 percent.”

“There is no survival of BiH without the equality of the three constituent nations, we will not have BiH without a constitutional consensus, we will not join the NATO Alliance, and the RS is militarily neutral. We accept the EU candidate status only on the condition that the false High Representative, as well as foreign judges in the Constitutional Court, leave BiH,” the Proclamation states.

The gathered rally-goers said they would not recognize the “illegal” work of the Central Election Commission of BiH, which wants to change the will of the people expressed in the elections on October 2 by its “endless counting”.

“The Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina did not give the Central Election Commission the right to overturn the election result, but gave it the obligation and deadlines to announce the winners,” the Proclamation said.

The rally was announced a few days ago by the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) leader Milorad Dodik, who said that certain positions will be adopted at this meeting, which will be guidelines for politics in the coming years, adding that work will be done “on strengthening the subjectivity of the RS and returning the competence for elections to the entity level.”

On Saturday, October 23, all general election results were determined except for the RS President, whose repeated control counting is in progress. Ever since the election night on October 2, the RS opposition claims that the elections were rigged and stolen and that the elections for the position of RS President should be repeated.

This idea was expressly opposed by the SNSD and its coalition partners, who demand that the results for the RS President be determined as soon as possible “because Milorad Dodik is the winner.”

Dodik ran against the RS opposition’s Jelena Trivic who was in the lead at one point, according to their election observers, but in days to come Milorad Dodik caught up to Trivic only to surpass her as days went on.
