As part of the celebration of the Day of Republika Srpska on January 9, which the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has repeatedly declared unconstitutional, awards were given to deserving institutions and individuals at the Banski Dvor Cultural Center in Banja Luka.

The list of recipients also included Viktor Orban, who was awarded the Order of the RS on a necklace, the highest decoration. The order will be ceremoniously presented later, considering that the Hungarian Prime Minister did not appear at the ceremony, regardless of the invitation.

Professor Nenad Kecmanovi and the poet Matija Beckovic were awarded the Order of the RS flag with a golden wreath.

Stanimir Vukicevic, the former ambassador of Serbia to BiH, and the Minister of Health of Serbia, Danica Grujicic, were awarded the Order of the RS flag with a silver wreath.

The Order of the Star of Karadjordje was awarded to Milomir Stepic, posthumously to Milomir Krstic, as well as Mladjan Cicovic, the head of the RS representative office in Serbia.

Singer Mirko Pajcin, better known as Baja Mali Knindza, was also honoured.
