“I have been asked to leave Bosnia": Dodik claims European pressure

Milorad Dodik, the President of Republika Srpska (RS), has claimed that influential European figures have urged him to leave Bosnia and Herzegovina peacefully.
"I received an offer from powerful European individuals who sent me a message saying they would have no objections if I left and remained free in Hungary, Russia, Serbia, or wherever I wanted—essentially aiming to remove me," Dodik stated during an appearance on the Telering show, on RTRS. He insisted, however, that he would not leave the RS.
A month ago, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued an arrest warrant for Dodik and ordered a one-month detention period due to his refusal to respond to a summons from the BiH Prosecutor’s Office as a suspect.
In a first-instance verdict, Dodik was found guilty of disregarding decisions made by High Representative Christian Schmidt. Additionally, he is under investigation for the suspicious purchase of a villa in Belgrade and has refused to attend a hearing in that case.
