Izetbegovic talks to Erdogan: Turkey will resolutely oppose any attempt at separatism
The Leader of Bosnia's Democratic Action Party (SDA), Bakir Izetbegovic and the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, exchanged Eid greetings in a phone conversation and discussed the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.
Erdogan "used the opportunity to congratulate all Bosniaks on Eid, with the message that the Republic of Turkey is carefully monitoring the situation and that it firmly stands by BiH," the official Facebook page of Bakir Izetbegovic said.
He especially emphasized that the Republic of Turkey will resolutely oppose any attempt at separatism, as it has done so far.
Izetbegovic thanked Erdogan for the continuous support that the friendly Republic of Turkey and the Turkish people provide to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The SDA Leader thanked Erdogan for his personal involvement in Gaza and expressed the hope that the terror against the innocent Palestinian people will be stopped as soon as possible.
