As Kosovo Koha.net reports, Wednesday's Government session began with a minute of silence in honour of the victims of the Srebrenica genocide.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that the declaration of July 11 as the Srebrenica Genocide Remembrance Day is a noble and appropriate action on behalf of Kosovo.

"This year we celebrate the 25th anniversary of Kosovo liberation. We remember the massacres committed and the victims of the wars of the 90s. We remember the 8,372 men and boys of Srebrenica who were killed by Serb forces in the biggest massacre in Europe since World War II," he said.
