Kristo and Radev discuss European integration and Regional cooperation

Their discussions focused on key topics, including Bosnia and Herzegovina's European integration and regional cooperation. Kristo informed President Radev of the latest steps BiH is taking toward EU membership.

She stressed the importance of ongoing reforms to strengthen democratic institutions, uphold the rule of law, and promote sustainable economic development.

In response, Radev reaffirmed Bulgaria’s strong support for Bosnia’s European aspirations, emphasising that Bulgaria remains committed to helping the country implement critical reforms and achieve full EU membership.

The Bulgarian president’s visit highlights the strong and friendly ties between Bosnia and Bulgaria, further solidifying their partnership as BiH continues its European journey, the Council of Ministers noted.
