In a daring overnight burglary, an unknown assailant or group of assailants broke into a private residence in the Zdena neighborhood near Sanski Most, making off with a substantial sum of money.
According to unofficial sources, approximately 1.6 million Bosnian Marks (BAM) were stolen, allegedly stored in two bags. The money reportedly belongs to a local resident who has been living and working in the United States for many years and is currently on vacation in his hometown.
The homeowners were not present at the time of the robbery. Upon discovering the theft, they immediately reported it to the Sanski Most Police Station.
An investigation into the incident and a search for the perpetrators are currently underway.
