Police were notified at 9:37 am on Tuesday that a man had set himself on fire in St. Mark's Square, where the government and parliament building are located, in the centre of Zagreb, the police confirmed to Hina.

An ambulance arrived at the scene and took the injured man away. His condition is still unknown.
