The Central Election Commission (CEC) of BiH announced that polling stations for local elections, which were delayed due to catastrophic floods that affected this area, opened on Sunday morning in Fojnica, Kiseljak, Kresevo, and Konjic.

In Konjic, 51 polling stations were opened, and 21,500 voters were registered with the right to exit the polls for the mayor and the City Council.

A total of 4,340 citizens have the right to vote in Kresevo with six regular polling stations and two mobile teams.

The Kiseljak Municipal Election Commission confirmed that two polling stations, out of a total of 26, were opened with a delay of 10 and 15 minutes due to technical difficulties. The remaining 24 polling stations were opened on time, and the election process is proceeding without difficulties. As confirmed by the Municipal Election Commission, 17,940 voters are registered in Kiseljak.

In the territory of the municipality of Fojnica, all 18 polling stations were opened on time, Fena news agency learned, adding that 10,417 citizens have the right to vote in this local municipality.
