Rescuers are searching for two Dutch nationals who went missing in the area of mount Visocica in central Bosnia and Herzegovina after the Dutch Embassy reported them missing on Wednesday morning.

The Mountain Rescue Service in Sarajevo received the call in the early hours of Wednesday and sent two teams with search dogs to look for the missing Dutch citizens who likely spent the night in the open.

However, due to the hardly accessible terrain, other mountain rescue teams are preparing to join the search, the service said.
