By throwing roses into the Buna River and lighting candles, the 32nd anniversary of the suffering of 29 people of Serb nationality in the town of Buna, near Mostar was marked on Saturday.
Family members of the dead and missing Serbs gathered to pay respects to their loved ones, many of whom are still missing. To date, no one has been held accountable for this crime, BHRT reported.
On this day in 1992, the Cathedral Church of the Holy Trinity in Mostar was also set on fire, the restoration of which is still ongoing.
The commemoration continued in Nevesinje, where at 11:30 am the laying of flowers at the Freedom Monument and a tour of the Memorial Room was held, and flowers were also laid on the Memorial Ossuary in Nevesinje.
